🖊 Shifu first learned calligraphy as a young child when he watched his father, who came from an impoverished family & never went to school was recognized for his calligraphy skills by the Chinese government. At the age of 19, Shifu's father began working for the Chinese government after being discovered for his skills & abilities.

🔥In this class, Shifu will teach how to write, the meaning of and the philosophy behind the essential characters in martial arts: Gong Fu, Wu Shu, Ch'an & Fo (Buddha).

💧Items Suggested: Brush, Ink, Paper. ***If you do not have ink, you can dip your brush in water and write on a piece of wood or paper to learn the technique! Otherwise, you can tune in just to listen to the history & philosophy behind it all.

🙏Shifu teaches that martial arts is everything in life. How you move your body, your mind or your brush all roots back to the same philosophy.
